The predecessor of China Building Materials Academy (“CBMA”) is the first scientific research institution for building materials in the People’s Republic of China. In 2006, through integrating 13 subordinate scientific research and design institutes, China National Building Materials Group established CBMA. CBMA is the largest and strongest scientific research & development center in China’s building materials and inorganic nonmetal field.
CBMA has fulfilled about 3,200 national and industrial scientific research projects, obtained more than 1,100 prizes at the provincial and ministerial level or above, published about 1,400 international, national and industrial standards, and possessed more than 1,900 patents......
